Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DakPariksha (the "Platform," "we," "us"), available at dakpariksha.in and via our mobile app. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What DakPariksha is

DakPariksha is an independent exam-preparation platform offering mock tests, study material, previous papers, and syllabus tracking for India Post departmental promotion exams (LDCE). DakPariksha is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Department of Posts, India Post, or the Government of India. All designations, exam names, and promotion tiers referenced on the Platform are used solely to describe the subject matter our content relates to.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and must not be shared, sold, or transferred. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Information you provide at registration (name, email, designation, target exam, etc.) should be accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or are used to circumvent these Terms.

3. Free and Premium access

Some mock tests and study material are available free of charge; others require a Premium subscription. Premium pricing, plan durations, and what's included are shown on our Premium page at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (including Razorpay and, for our mobile app, Google Play Billing) — we do not store your card or bank details ourselves. By subscribing, you also agree to the applicable payment processor's terms.

Subscriptions do not renew automatically unless explicitly stated as auto-renewing at the time of purchase. Refunds, where applicable, follow the policy shown at checkout and applicable Indian consumer protection law; if no refund window is stated, please contact us and we'll review requests on a case-by-case basis.

4. Content accuracy

Study material and mock tests are contributed by registered contributors and reviewed by our admin team before publishing. However, exam patterns, syllabi, and official notifications can change, and we do not guarantee that any content is complete, current, or error-free. Content on the Platform is a study aid, not a substitute for official notifications issued by the Department of Posts — always cross-check against official sources before relying on anything for exam preparation or eligibility decisions.

5. Your conduct

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or redistribute Premium content outside the Platform;
• Upload content you don't have the rights to, or that's false, defamatory, or infringing;
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or interfere with the Platform's normal operation;
• Use automated tools to scrape content or manipulate test scores, leaderboards, or attempt records;
• Impersonate any person or organization, including India Post or its officials.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

6. Intellectual property

The DakPariksha name, logo, and platform design are our property. Content you contribute (study material, questions, discussion posts) remains yours, but by submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it on the Platform for as long as your content remains published.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that using DakPariksha will result in exam success, promotion, or any particular outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DakPariksha and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on any content, test result, or ranking.

8. Account termination

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent payment activity, or pose a security risk to the Platform or other users.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mulugu District of Telangana State.
